{"id":31129,"date":"2024-01-03T09:21:28","date_gmt":"2024-01-03T08:21:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tallerdemusics.com\/?p=31129"},"modified":"2024-01-18T11:16:11","modified_gmt":"2024-01-18T10:16:11","slug":"call-for-intensive-combined-programmes-biperasmus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tallerdemusics.com\/en\/call-for-intensive-combined-programmes-biperasmus\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Intensive Combined Programmes (BIP)<\/br>Erasmus+"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This call is open to all students from the 2nd year onwards of the <a href=\"https:\/\/tallerdemusics.com\/superior\/\">Taller de M\u00fasics ESEM<\/a> who are interested in participating in the international <a href=\"https:\/\/tallerdemusics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Presentacion_BIPs.pdf\">Blended Intensive Program (BIP)<\/a> organised by the Taller de M\u00fasics and tutored by Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/tallerdemusics.com\/en\/faculty\/joan-terol\/\">Joan Terol<\/a>, who is in charge of coordination together with <a href=\"https:\/\/tallerdemusics.com\/en\/faculty\/nestor-gimenez\/\">N\u00e9stor Gim\u00e9nez<\/a>. This BIP is entitled <strong>Ensemble texture exploration and narrative improvisation<\/strong>. As its name suggests, it will revolve around musical concepts relating to group work and improvisation.<\/p>\n<p>In the selection process, <strong>5 instrumentalists will be chosen <\/strong>to form a quintet (rhythm section + soloists) that will represent the centre during the<strong> Barcelona<\/strong> <strong>BIP<\/strong>, which will take place <strong>from January 29<sup>th<\/sup> to February 2<sup>nd<\/sup> <\/strong>at the Taller de M\u00fasics ESEM, and potentially also at the BIP Ferrara (Italy), from April 30<sup>th<\/sup> to May 6<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible to join this quintet, the applicant must send a video of themselves performing a version of a jazz standard or a song of their own, where they can be seen improvising (in the case of rhythm section instruments, accompaniment parts can also be included). Here is the link to the application form where you can attach the required documentation:<\/p>\n<h4><a class=\"btn btn-primary\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/u1BgTt4jAbzCcer16\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">REGISTRATION<\/a><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Registration will be open until January 15 at 12pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The centres participating as partners in this experience are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservatorioferrara.it\/biblioteca\/cug\/index.html\">Conservatorio Girolamo Frescobaldi di Ferrara (Italy)<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hanze.nl\/prins-claus-conservatorium\">Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen<\/a> (The Netherlands) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jvlma.lv\/en\">J\u0101zeps V\u012btols Latvian Academy of Music<\/a> (Latvia).<\/p>\n<p>The programme will be conducted mainly in English, therefore, the applicant&#8217;s level of English and ability to communicate fluently in English will be assessed.<\/p>\n<p>Participation will be rewarded with <strong>3 ECTS credits<\/strong>. Applicants must be fully available to attend all BIP classes and events. To this end, those chosen will have to sign a commitment document. Potentially, students involved in the Barcelona BIP will also be part of the Ferrara BIP, and this mobility will also be rewarded with 3 credits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT ARE BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAMMES?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tallerdemusics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Presentacion_BIPs.pdf\">Blended Intensive Programmes <\/a>are part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/tallerdemusics.com\/en\/erasmus\/\">Erasmus+<\/a> programme and are a mobility format that combines online learning with a short period of physical mobility.<\/p>\n<p>They target groups of students and staff who will undertake a short-term physical mobility abroad (from 5 to 30 days) combined with a mandatory virtual component, which should bring participants together online to work collectively and simultaneously on specific tasks that are integrated in the BIP and count towards the overall learning outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This call is open to all students from the 2nd year onwards of the Taller de M\u00fasics ESEM who are interested in participating in the international Blended Intensive Program (BIP) organised by the Taller de M\u00fasics and tutored by Professor Joan Terol, who is in charge of coordination together with N\u00e9stor Gim\u00e9nez.
