Adrià Regué

Adrià Regué Alsina (Castellserà, 1994) began his musical journey at the age of six at the Municipal School, first studying piano and later guitar. He has pursued his two passions: music and science, in parallel throughout his life.

Biography

In 2018, he graduated in Biotechnology, and in 2020, he completed a Master’s degree in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics. After working for two years at a university, he decided to shift his career path and pursue Bachelor’s studies in jazz piano and modern music at Taller de Músics ESEM.

During this period, he studied under teachers such as Néstor Giménez, Santi de la Rubia, Pau Solsona, Maria Mauri, Jaume Gispert, and Alejandro Di Costanzo. He has also attended masterclasses led by James Francies, Shai Maestro, Joan Diaz, Irene Reig, Marco Mezquida, Ivan “Melon” Lewis, Carles Benavent, Carlos Cuenca, Gordon Vernick, Judit Neddermann, John Stowell, Peter Bernstein, and Kenneth Dahl Knudsen.

He has collaborated in musical theater productions with the Lleida Municipal Band and has been part of various musical ensembles spanning jazz, pop, and traditional Catalan music.

Currently, he balances his education with teaching at the Senior Space of Taller de Músics and other schools in Barcelona.
