Piano and Voice Teacher, Speech Therapist Specializing in Vocal Pathology, and Expert in Myofunctional Therapy (TMF) and RLF® by Fournier-Miralles

Biografía

Mònica Miralles began her musical journey at the age of eight at the Liceu Conservatory, encouraged by her parents, who recognized her talent—her father was a founding member of Los Salvajes. At sixteen, she received an offer for a teaching contract but chose instead to embark on a tour, performing an average of 10 shows per week. After suffering a throat injury and discovering she was an oral breather, she decided to study Speech Therapy.

Mònica has become a leading expert in vocal pathology and TMF. During a TMJ course, she participated in cadaver dissections and encountered the RLF® Method in its practical applications. With 20 years of stage experience, she recorded the album P’ARRiBA, a flamenco fusion work that is now considered a vocal technique reference by the Andalusian Regional Government.

Awarded a scholarship from the Taller de Músics, Mònica combines her artistic endeavors with teaching in various institutions, including the Granollers Modern Music School, where she applies the Xavi Fort Method from Taller de Músics. Currently, she works as a coach and speech therapist for opera singers, musical theater performers, and black timbres, among others.
