Sandra Rodríguez is a Catalan artist born in Mataró. From a very young age, she showed interest in music and began her training in classical piano, which she complemented with studies in transverse flute and singing. Later, she deepened her vocal training at Taller de Músics and subsequently graduated from the Liceu Conservatory.
Since her arrival in Barcelona, she has been part of various projects in genres such as jazz, soul, hip-hop, and R&B, styles that make up her artistic background and define her musical
Sandra Rodríguez begins her academic career at the Granollers Music Conservatory, where she studies classical piano. She continues her training at Taller de Músics, where she receives classes from teachers such as Yeray Hernández and Xevi Gata. Later, she graduates from the Liceu Conservatory, training with musicians such as Àlex Dee, Pedro Campos, Ignasi Zamora, Celeste Alías, and Raynald Colom. Currently, she receives technical training from singer and pedagogue Ángela Furquet.
In the professional sphere, she has collaborated with multiple formations and artists. Notable highlights include her participation at the Palau de la Música alongside Zalon, backing vocalist and vocal producer for Amy Winehouse, accompanied by the band Big Menu; the Remembering Prince project with Àlex Dee; the Non-Fictional Vocal Jazz Quartet led by bassist DJ Foster; a blues quartet with Ignasi Zamora; the Vilassar Big Band; and collaborations with artist OKDW, among others.
She has been part of the Barreiro Project band, with which she has performed at Barcelona venues such as Apolo and at festivals such as the Voll-Damm Barcelona Jazz Festival or Jazz & Más in the Canary Islands, sharing the bill with artists like Maceo Parker.
As a backing vocalist, she has worked with Nil Moliner, performing at Palau Sant Jordi, and with artist DORA, with whom she has toured various stages across the country and Europe. She has also collaborated with American musician Dan Imhoff, with whom she has toured California (USA), performing songs from his latest album, for which she also handled the vocal production.
Currently, she is immersed in creating her personal project, which she combines with collaborations alongside other artists and formations from the current music scene.
