Edgar Garcia Vernet

Biografía

Since 2007, he has been part of various musical groups such as Lemmings Rock, TheseCovers, Sotrac, and Athanàgia, among others, which has allowed him to develop skills across a range of styles. In parallel, from 2015 to 2020, he worked as a drum teacher at the Musicàrea school in Vilanova i la Geltrú.

In 2016, he resumed formal studies at the Taller de Músics, where he prepared for admission to the higher education program in jazz and modern music performance. He began these studies in 2020 at ESEM Taller de Músics.

He currently teaches drums, ensemble, and music theory at the Espai Sènior of the Taller de Músics, at the internal music school of Escola Guinardó, and at the Escola de Música Àrtic. He is also the drummer for the groups Bandolers and Orquestra Sabor Sabor.
