The Viennese trio other:M:other comes to Barcelona with Taller de Músics to present Material, their second album, a studio release conceived as a unified composition of seven tracks that move from erosion to resolution.
Starting from minimalist musical material, Judith Schwarz (extended drums), Arthur Fussy (modular synthesizer) and Jul Dillier (prepared piano) develop complex sonic landscapes through the interplay of composition and improvisation. Their music explores the boundaries between acoustic and electronic sounds, percussive textures, experimental music and club rhythms.
With an unconventional line-up and a distinctive sonic language, other:M offers a musical experience that challenges genre boundaries and explores the expressive potential of sound.
