Fira B! — 6 November
Church of Sant Francesc, Palma
Time: 4 pm
The Spiritual Music project presents a performance at Fira B! that brings the organ into dialogue with jazz and sound experimentation. The concert will take place on 6 November at the Church of Sant Francesc in Palma.
Led by Musicamorfosi (Italy) in collaboration with Taller de Músics (Spain) and Jazz Festival & Event (Romania), Spiritual Music is a European cultural cooperation project that aims to renew collaborative artistic practices and connect music with cultural heritage and local communities.
The project opens up new avenues for dialogue between the organ tradition and musical languages such as jazz and sound experimentation. The ensemble features Llorenç Barceló (organ), Pere Martínez (voice), Carola Ortiz (clarinet) and Abraham Lojo (guitar).
The concert invites audiences to discover new sounds and approaches to musical creation that bring tradition and contemporary expression together in a heritage setting.
