Taller de Músics and OASYS, with the collaboration of ScannerFM, present this new initiative, which kicks off with Blood Quartet and flamenco singer Pere Martínez.
Taller de Músics is launching a new collaboration with Barcelona’s OASYS venue through Oasys del Taller, a monthly concert series held as part of the Jazzcimiento sessions. Created by OASYS, Jazzcimiento is a space dedicated to discovering and showcasing contemporary jazz projects, both emerging and established, from Barcelona and Catalonia’s music scene.
The initiative also features the collaboration of ScannerFM, which will help expand the projects’ reach through its platforms and digital channels.
Oasys del Taller aims to provide a platform for presenting and promoting groups and artists associated with Taller de Músics, with a particular focus on their new creations and recordings. Beyond live performances, the series seeks to extend the life of each project through the production of audiovisual and audio content that can introduce it to new audiences.
Each session will combine a short interview with the artists, an approximately 40-minute concert, and an informal gathering with the audience. The performances will be professionally recorded in both audio and video, with three tracks selected for subsequent release.
The first Oasys del Taller session will take place on Wednesday, 2 December, featuring Blood Quartet – Spectral Relations: Live Recording Show, with special guest flamenco singer Pere Martínez.

Blood Quartet and Pere Martínez will share the OASYS stage for the first time in a meeting that opens up new avenues of dialogue between free creation and flamenco. The Barcelona-based band, whose sound moves between no wave, jazz noir, swamp rock, and improvisation, will present an unreleased repertoire recorded live for their upcoming album, scheduled for release in 2027.
The evening will also feature a selection of tracks from the quartet’s original repertoire, specially chosen for the occasion. Before the concert, an interview with the band will offer insight into their creative world and the details of this collaboration, and will be available to listen to through ScannerFM.
