This week you have a double date with A Contra Blues to listen live to their new album Heart and Guts: on Friday 16th June within the cycle “Tastets del Música” in the Auditorio de Sant Martí de Provençals, Barcelona, and on Sunday 18th in the Cafè del Teatre de Lleida.
Heart and Guts is the band’s sixth album, where they explore new powerful sounds in songs that talk about fears, illness, personal growth or the fight against adversity in an energetic live performance, described as an experience full of strength and empathy. A proposal that leaves no one indifferent.
The vitality, audacity and commitment of A Contra Blues make them undoubtedly one of the best bands on the European scene today. They are backed by the award of winners of the European Blues Challenge 2014, ten years of a musical career, more than six hundred concerts and six records. Since their debut they have not stopped travelling and playing on the most varied stages, starting on the streets of Barcelona and ending up at the major European festivals.
