Oriol Ferré

Biografía

He holds a higher degree in Jazz and Modern Music from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) and a diploma from the San Francisco Orff Schulwerk Certification Program. Since 2012 he has been teaching courses for music teachers and people interested in music education: courses and workshops on teaching materials, rhythmic and harmonic games, body percussion, group pedagogy, etc.

As a trainer, he has given more than seventy courses, among others at JaSeSoi ry – Orff Schulwerk Association (Finland), at the OSI Orff-Schulwerk (Italy), at the Orff-Spain Association in Madrid, at the Association of Music Teachers of Catalonia (AEMCAT), at the Rhythm4Days or the Musical Workshops of Avinyó (Musicop).

He is also a music teacher at the EMM Miquel Blanch in Castellbisbal, a founding member of the Orff-Catalonia section of the Orff-Spain Association. He is also a member of the training and research committee of the Catalan Association of Music Schools (ACEM), coordinator of the Educa-sonograma section of the Sonograma Magazine and pedagogical coordinator of the activities of the Symphonic and Chamber Music Foundation. As a trombonist, he is a member of the Sant Cugat Symphony Orchestra, the Catalan rumba group Derrumband and the CIA Ticotacoteca Theatre.
