As a graduate in Higher Music Studies from the ESMUC and in Higher Degree from the Taller de Músics de Barcelona, he continues his instrumental training with Quim Solé, Jorge Rossy and Idris Mohamed. Until now he has attended seminars with Billy Hart, Max Roach, John Abercrombie, Donald Harrison, Mulgrew Miller, Tete Montoliú, Gal Harper, Richard Beirach and David Liebman, and Master Class with Peter Erskine, Trilok Gurtu and Dave Weckl
In the professional field, he has played with Dick Oatts, Dave Schnitter, Jean Toussaint, Jerry Gonzalez, Greg Lyons, Jim Left, Joe Fonda, Tom Warner, Javier Colina, Ramón Cardo, Chano Domínguez, Perico Sambeat, Zé Eduardo, Horacio Fumero, Tom Guillion, Polo Orti, Bob Sands, Dani Perez, Jose Luis Gamez, David Mengual, Llibert Fortuny, Kike Perdomo, Jose Antonio Ramos and Ravi Chary, among others. He collaborated with Mozaik Jazz Quartet, Mambaya Avangard Ensemble, Zé Eduardo Unit, Big Band Taller de Músics, Chano Dominguez Trio, the program “El Pendol” of TV2, Michael Mcaine Blues Band, Carliños Pitera, Loti Lewis, Lluís Coloma Trio, Macaronesis, Jazzborondon, etc..
He participated in the I, II, III, IV and V Mostra de Jazz Europeo, La Mercè 1990, 1991 and 2006, jazz festivals in La Laguna, Debrecen (Hungary), Terrassa, Lugo, Logroño, Getxo, Barcelona, Girona, San Sebastián, Las Palmas, Santander (Universidad Menéndez Pelayo), Altaveu Frontera, L’Hora del Jazz, Jazzatlantic (Tenerife), Beirut (Lebanon), Casablanca (Morocco). He also toured Spain, France, England, Portugal, Lebanon, Colombia, Venezuela, Hungary, Mexico, India, China, South Korea, Poland, Belgium, Ireland, Brazil, Santo Domingo, Japan and the USA.
He works with Ramón Díaz Group, Jaume Vilaseca Quartet, Big Band De Canarias, Santi Galan Quartet, Quim Abramo Quartet, and freelance musician. He is an instrument teacher at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona. He is co-author of the elementary and middle-level programme of Drums at the Taller de Músics, has directed different combos and groups and has given two seminars (Lugo Jazz Festival and the Canary Islands Jazz Festival).
