PHILIP DIZACK
Grammy®-nominated trumpeter Philip Dizack, based in the U.S., is renowned for his lyrical playing and spontaneous creativity, blending a deep respect for jazz tradition with versatile expression. Mentored in his early 20s by jazz greats such as Bobby Watson of the Jazz Messengers and 10-time Grammy® Award-winning pianist Eddie Palmieri, Dizack has since become a prominent figure on the modern jazz scene.
In 2020, he joined ECM recording artist and piano virtuoso Shai Maestro’s Quartet, further solidifying his place in contemporary jazz. As a bandleader, Dizack has released three albums and toured globally, performing with an array of artists from various genres and generations.
Beginning the fall of 2019, Dizack became the Professor of Jazz Trumpet at the famed University of North Texas where he currently remains.
