Marta Duran is a saxophonist and composer who graduated in Jazz and Modern Music from the Taller de Músics ESEM. In addition to leading her own quartet, she collaborates on various musical projects.
Now, with her quartet, she presents Shine, a new musical project and also the title of her album.

Shine fuses the depth and acoustic sound of jazz with touches of electronic elements, creating a unique sound experience that takes the listener on a journey through different dimensions.
Marta Duran’s compositions are influenced by traditional jazz as well as other genres that have left a mark on her, such as Brazilian music and pop. Her pieces are characterized by being melodic and singable, and her group strives to offer a live performance that is warm and welcoming, yet intense and emotional.
Shine seeks to communicate a constant musical sincerity, creating a dialogue between the musicians and opening up the emotions of each member of the group to connect with the audience in the most honest way possible.
