Taller de Músics and Kultur | lx – Arts Council Luxembourg, in collaboration with Acción Cultural Española, AC/E, opened a call for young musicians, one from Luxembourg and one from Barcelona, to become part of a quartet co-led by bassist Marc Demuth and saxophonist Irene Reig. Drummer Andreu Giró, from Barcelona, and vibraphonist Arthur Clees, from Luxembourg, are the two artists who will be involved in the project.
From 18th to 21st November 2023, the four musicians will work in artistic residency and will have the chance to share their compositions and knowledge to create a new repertoire. They will then present the result in two concerts: on 21st November at Club Jamboree in Barcelona and on 26th November at Neimënster Abbey in Luxembourg.
This project is part of Acciones para Músicos Noveles, a co-production of Taller de Músics and Acción Cultural Española, AC/E.
