Awarded with the Revelation Prize at the Festival de Jerez 2013, Karime Amaya has distinguished herself as a soloist in the most important venues and tablaos around the world. She has also performed alongside figures such as Tomatito, Los Los Losada, Farruquito and Gerardo Núñez, and has shared the stage with renowned bailaores and bailaoras such as María Pagés, Israel and Pastora Galván, Antonio Canales, Manuela Carrasco, Antonio ‘El Pipa’ and the Farruco Family, among many others.
Now, Karime Amaya presents, together with other outstanding artists, the new production Herencia.
In Herencia, Karime and Tati Amaya, along with Miguel de la Tolea, El Duende, José Córdoba and the special collaboration of a guest artist on the dance, make up a first-class artistic cast. Of particular note is the presence of Karime and Tati Amaya, grandniece and grandnephew of the legendary Carmen Amaya. Together with these outstanding flamenco figures, they have shaped their art in the vibrant Barcelona scene and represent the authenticity of Catalan flamenco.
