Aida Ten

Aida Ten is a moving image composer and pianist. She has a Master’s Degree in Scoring for Film, TV and Video Games from Berklee College of Music in Boston, and a Bachelor’s in Jazz and Modern Music Performance for piano from Taller de Músics ESEM.

Biography

Her first professional job was on a project called Barcelona and she carried out the production, composition, orchestration, conducting and final mixing. It was recorded with a full orchestra at the prestigious Air Studios in London with Jake Jackson as the recording engineer.

During her career, she has been involved in various projects, including co-creating the soundtrack with Carolina Fontecha for De perdidos a Río, a feature film by Joaquín Mazón co-produced by Sony Pictures España, Pecado Films and La Claqueta PC. She also created songs, orchestrated and recorded all the musical sections and, in some cases, took charge of the musical direction.

She also did the composition and sound design for MetälBörn, an FPS video game that is available worldwide on STEAM.

She has participated as music editor in L’última nit del karaoke, a series by El Terrat; as orchestral recording assistant in Netflix’s Eres tú; and as arranger and orchestrator in several projects such as Somriu al Nadal, as well as the Taller de Músics XXL Collective.

Currently, she works in the music industry for advertising, television, film and video games.
