Born in Barcelona in 1989, Àlex Badia began his classical piano studies at the age of five. At 17, he discovered jazz piano and drums, later graduating with a degree in Jazz Piano Performance from the Taller de Músics ESEM. He has had the opportunity to study with renowned musicians such as Joan Monné, Marco Mezquida, Jordi Bonell, Joan Díaz, David Pastor, and Vicenç Solsona, among others.
Àlex Badia has pursued his musical career in various fields, including television, dance orchestras, cover bands, salsa ensembles, singer-songwriter projects, and symphonic ventures, among others. He has been part of projects such as Fundación Tony Manero, Falsterbo, the Original Jazz Orquesta, Nación Funk Ajo Stars, La Fête (TV3’s Col·lapse band), Lax’n’Busto, Lady Slang, Orquesta Metropol, La Pau, Zim & The Zums, among others. Currently, he combines his teaching duties with live performances and studio recordings.
