Born in Barcelona in 1967, Angel Ferrer studied electric guitar, musical language, harmony, arrangements and instrumental ensemble at the Taller de Músics, with teachers such as Lluís Vergés, Lluís Vidal, Zé Eduardo, Jordi Bonell and Sean Levitt. Later, he obtained a Higher Degree in Jazz and Modern Music at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC).
Since 1985 he has been part, as a guitarist, of several musical projects in different styles: jazz, funk, jazz-rock, fusion, rock, pop, etc.
As a teacher, he has been teaching electric guitar, musical language, harmony and instrumental ensemble for more than twenty years. He is currently a teacher of the electric guitar at the Bachelor of Music at the Taller de Músics.
