He studied at the Aula de Música Moderna i Jazz and at the Taller de Músics. He is currently studying for a Higher Degree in Jazz and Modern Music Performance at the Taller de Músics Bachelor of Music.
In 2017 he released 1000 KM (La Cúpula Music), an album where he combines blues with surfing, rock’n’roll and some jazz tints. This album is the starting point of his personal project (more information at www.arturcabanas.com).
In the last years, he has worked in different formations such as Talking Rabbits and Tràfic. Currently, he is a member of the band Todos los Gatos. Throughout his career, he has also worked in television and in-studio productions for other authors.
In his teaching facet, he has been a guitar teacher at the Taller de Músics since 2012 and at the Conservatori El Musical de Bellaterra since 2018.
