Born in Terrassa in 1979, she began her studies of classical violin at the Conservatory of this city. She progressively specialised in traditional and modern violin, with studies at the Aula de Música Tradicional i Popular, Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and following a number of complementary courses.
Her education includes courses in harmony, improvisation and flamenco. In 2011 she obtained the Superior Degree in Traditional Music at the ESMUC, with speciality violin.
As a performer she has been a member of the groups La Carrau and Betzuca since their foundation, collaborating with formations and soloists like: Les Violines, Kamerata Flamenca, La Pepi, Dàfnia, La Botzina, Joan Dausà i els Tipus d’interès, Primera Nota, Urbàlia Rurana, Tresor, Cheb Balowsky, Josep Thió, Feliu Ventura, Pepet i Marieta, Quico el Cèlio…
At the same time, she trained to be cultural manager, with a degree in Music Promotion and Management from the ESMUC and a degree in Humanities from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In this field she works at the Servei Educatiu del Auditori de Barcelona and, between 2008 and 2011, she had been part of the management team of the Aula de Música Tradicional, in charge of production and cultural diffusion and coordinator of the summer courses of Traditional Music FESTCAT.
As a teacher she has given violin classes at the Aula de Música Tradicional i Popular, Centre Artesà Tradicionàrius, Tallers d’Arsèguel, Escoles d’Estiu FESTCAT, Escola de Música El Tudell de Sant Cugat and Escola de Música d’Ullastrell
