Claudia Steccato is a singer and composer who graduated in Modern Singing and Jazz from Taller de Músics ESEM. Subsequently, she studied a postgraduate course in Speech Therapy Intervention in Voice Disorders at the Ramón Llull University. She also trained in Functional Voice Training and the Feldenkrais method with Javi Prieto.
From a very young age, Claudia Steccato has had a great passion for music and singing, but it was not until the age of 19 that she embarked on her artistic career.
During her career, she has worked and collaborated with artists such as A Contra Blues, Antonio José, Antonio Orozco, Arnau Giordiani, Enric Ez, Eva del Canto, Gabriela Richardson, Índigos, Paula Domínguez, and Lalo López, among others. She has participated in the television programme “La Voz” with Gavana, the vocal trio with Paula Domínguez and Eva del Canto. In 2013 she was a member of the pop-rock fusion band Mama Pool with Gilles Estoppey, with whom she released the album Here (Temps Record, 2014). At the same time, she formed the band Sour Project with Rubén Alcázar and presented the alternative rock project “Del caos, las estrellas”. She also works as a session musician for advertising and television commercials for different artists and production companies on the scene.
As a vocalist, she has trained at Estill Voice Training and Modern Vocal Training. She has been taught by Anna Luna, Helen Rowson, Viv Manning, Yasmina Azlor and Miguel Manzo.
As a teacher, she teaches singing classes, combos and musical laboratories and conducts children’s and adult choirs at the Municipal School of Sant Andreu de la Barca and at the Aula de Montcada i Reixac.
