Both a musician and a lawyer, Eva Fort is a specialist in intellectual property and advising on musical activity. She also organises concerts and events for Rodautors, a non-profit association that provides resources and creates meeting and promotion spaces for emerging singer-songwriters.
In 2018 she graduated in Law from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where she did an Erasmus study abroad programme at the Amsterdam Law School – Universiteit Von Amsterdam (The Netherlands).
As a musician and lawyer, she has always been interested in the legal aspects that regulate parts of the music industry. For this reason, in 2019 she took the Music Management course offered by Taller de Músics.
Her personal musical project as a singer-songwriter has led her to become a member of the non-profit association Rodautors, which works to provide resources and create spaces for dissemination, promotion and networking for emerging singer-songwriters. Within the association, Fort is in charge of the organisation and promotion of concerts, as well as the search for and creation of new events.
She is currently in her final year of her Master’s Degree in Law at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, in order to become a member of the Il-lustre Col-legi d’Advocats de Barcelona. In addition, for the last two years she has been working as a lawyer at the law firm FG Legal in the department specialising in intellectual property and comprehensive advice on musical activity.
