He received musical training at the Taller de Músics, specialising in jazz, studying electric guitar with teachers such as Riqui Sabatés, Jordi Bonell and Sean Levitt. He also performs special combos with teachers Lluís Vidal, Jorge Rossi, Horacio Fumero or Peer Wyboris, among others. He has participated in several renowned seminars with Joe Pass, Rick Peckham and Kurt Rosenwinkel.
He played with various jazz, blues or funk groups, such as Big Band Barna, Taller de Músics Band, Carles Pineda Trio, Soul City, Q Jazz Quintet, True Blues or Stompin’ Gang, with whom he recorded Swingin & grooving in 2005. He has collaborated with the Euskadi Symphony Orchestra, the Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya and the Lleida Symphony Orchestra.
As a banjo player, he played in many of the traditional jazz groups in Catalonia, such as Hot Angels, Rino Dixie Banda, Gumbo Jazz Band or Dixie Factoria. In other areas, he collaborated in the recording of the music for the film El Milagro de P. Tinto.
As a teacher, he has worked for the city councils of Sabadell and Barcelona in different cultural spaces. He is a teacher in the Taller de Músics and in the Escola Municipal de Música d’Esparreguera giving classes of guitar, combo and musical language. Since 2005 he also teaches at the Escola Municipal de Música de Castellbisbal.
