Magalí Sare

Magalí Sare is a singer, flutist and percussionist born in Barcelona in 1991, from a family of musicians.

She has been part of the world of choral singing all his life. She also obtained the professional flute degree at the Sabadell Conservatory, obtaining the Honor Prize at the end of the studies. A couple of years later she obtained the professional degree of lyric singing at the same conservatory, also taking the Honor Prize. All these studies she had completed with 6 years of classical and modern percussion and several years of private jazz piano lessons.

At the age of 19 begins the Bachelor degree of classical flute at Centre Superior del Liceu, but at 21 she leaves it and finally decides to move to the world of jazz. After a year of self-taught preparation, she is admitted to the same Center in the specialty of jazz singing. Once she has graduated (2013-17 academic year) she obtains the extraordinary prize from the Jazz Department for the best trajectory within the school.

As a leader, in April 2018 she released his first album Songs of Love and Demons (Self-published), offering a repertoire of his own songs (music and lyrics), produced by Vic Moliner and Panxii Badii.

In addition, she currently acts regularly in duo format with Sebastián Gris Duo (voice and guitar) and with Manel Fortià Duo (voice, percussion, flute and double bass), since 2012 she is the soprano of the Melt Quartet and she is now the voice of the songs from Clara Peya’s latest album.
