Voice Ensembles Coordinator
Núria was born in Barcelona, and she began her music studies after finishing her degree in Physics. At the same time, she started playing on stages with duet, trio and quartet groups.
Núria has participated in projects such as Funktumaka (covering funk classics), the Salsa orchestra Siembra or the duet Maragua. She also participated in recordings as backing vocals and solo voice in many bands and on artists’ albums such as María Lamata, Xerach Peñate, Albert Carrique, Ofiura, Chus Navajo and Rossvelvet.
She played in the Festival Internacional de Jazz de Canarias (2017) with Xerach Peñate presenting the work piece Tizziri.
Núria stands out for her naturalness and her style versatility. She learned music from professors such as Carme Canela, Ana Finger, Juan Díaz and Joan Monné, among others.
Since completing her studies in Jazz performance in ESMUC, she has been full-time dedicated to teaching in the Taller de Músics and being the lead singer in Flor de Canela, the group with whom she published her first EP in October 2019. She has also participated in festivals such as WOMAD (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), Gigante (Guadalajara) and MMVV (Vic).
