Get your accreditation for JAZZ I AM 2020

The second edition of JAZZ I AM is nearly here! Accreditations are now available for the different days of this international meeting which will take place from the 25th – 27th March at Fabra i Coats – Fábrica de Creación. Taller de Músics students have free access to all the activities via the use of a discount code which you can get from the secretariat of the Music School or from the Higher School for Musical Studies (ESEM).

What’s more, you can now check out the programme of activities for JAZZ I AM 2020 on our website. This year’s event will include panel discussions on topics such as digital distribution, international mobility, strategies for club programming and new trends. There will also be workshops about Wikipedia, fundraising and sync music, twelve showcases, project presentations and MeeThePro sessions. The meeting will also host private events such as the assembly of Plataforma Jazz España as well as the awards ceremony for the Asociación de Músicos de Jazz y Música Moderna (AMJM).

On Thursday 26th and Friday 27th March, both days will be followed by Off JAZZ I AM in the Festival de Jazz de Terrassa, with Mélodie Gimard and Alto For Two, whilst in Jamboree we’ll have The Black Barbies and a DJ Session respectively.

The JAZZ I AM jury, made up of bookers for venues and festivals, have now chosen the twelve groups who will perform in showcase format as part of the second edition of this meeting. 12 proposals have been selected from among the 235 received, based on the criteria of originality, quality, and the viability of each project being commercialised internationally.

These twelve bands will perform on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th of March 2020 at Fabra i Coats-Fábrica de Creación de Barcelona, in front of the national and international bookers attending the meeting.
