A team from Taller de Músics Escuela Superior de Estudios Musicales will travel to Toulouse to take part in the project, Music Pedagogy: learn and Play! MP3, part of the Erasmus+ programme. The aim of the study is to identify the skills that a musician must have in the area of group performance. The the aim is to define the different aspects that can be worked on in schools and conservatories, so that when future musicians finish their studies, they have the capacity for teamwork and collaboration and are familiar with the working environment in which they will carry out their work.
Within this project, the Taller de Músics team will be in charge, among other things, of creating a repository of educational resources for different actors, such as musicians who teach. It will focus on the interrelationship with their bands, to promote the acquisition of skills and collaboration in creation and professionalisation environments in the music industry.
The project is led by Music’Halle, a music school in Toulouse, and in addition to Taller de Músics, the other partners are; the Locomotive festival in Salento, the Jazz Pop-Studio music centre in Antwerp and LABA in Bordeaux, an organisation specialised in identifying, attracting and managing European funding.
This project will run for two years and is funded by the Erasmus+ programme under KA202.
