Taller de Músics and Acción Cultural Española have signed a new collaboration agreement to carry out the second edition of the Actions for New Musicians project, which aims to promote the professional careers of new talents emerging from the Taller de Músics ESEM classrooms.
This second edition aims to respond to the difficulties relating to connection and mobility between the novice or informal music circuits and the professional or higher-profile circuits. To this end, different programmes have been designed through which the selected students will have the opportunity to enhance their training: they will work in artistic residencies and share the stage with musicians of the stature of Chano Domínguez and Perico Sambeat; they will participate in seminars and festivals such as Fara Music (Italy), Jaz à Vienne (France) and Sedajazz (Valencia); one of the musical projects that formed part of the Talent 2020 Festival will be selected to tour Spain; and lastly, the students will explore the field of electronic music.
The different actions proposed by the project aim to impact the contemporary music scene, where new artists can find new audiences on the professional music circuit at national and international level.
