Songwriting Certificate

Taller de Músics and Microfusa, pioneering schools in music education and technology in Barcelona, present the Songwriting Certificate. This is a joint initiative that provides comprehensive and exhaustive training in all the skills necessary to understand and master the art of songwriting, from the songs themselves to production and dissemination for commercial purposes._

Objectives

The objective of this course is to provide the necessary tools for the composition and writing of songs (Songwriting), encompassing both the musical and literary aspects. During this two-year course, students will work on different aspects of the compositional phenomenon, such as theoretical training, experimentation, analysis and knowledge of new technologies.

In this course, the different compositional styles and trends are explored. Students will work on different techniques and particularities, from the simplest to the most sophisticated forms.

Who is the course aimed at?

This course is for anyone who wants to get into songwriting and composition. It is also essential for those artists who already have experience but need to expand their resources or acquire a solid practical-theoretical basis.

Qualification

Once all the subjects on the syllabus have been completed (or the equivalent knowledge has been accredited), students will obtain the Songwriting Certificate, a qualification awarded by Taller de Músics and Microfusa.

The accreditation of equivalent knowledge necessary for the recognition of subjects will be done through a level test for each subject.
