Jofre Fité

Jofre Fité, born in Barcelona, is a pianist, keyboardist, and composer. He began his musical studies at the Esclat school in Manresa at the age of thirteen, quickly standing out in the jam sessions at the legendary Madujazz. After graduating in History from the UAB, he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Music at the Taller de Músics ESEM, where he studied under renowned teachers such as Jaume Oliveras and Santi de la Rubia and participated in masterclasses with notable figures like Bruce Barth and Jerry Bergonzi.

Biography

As a performer, Jofre has played with a wide range of ensembles, from reggae and funk groups to big bands and contemporary music projects. He is currently a member of the electronic fusion group Camarada Ventura (formerly JF Trio) and presents his Solo project, a piano concert blending techno and minimalism. He regularly collaborates with vocalist Anna Jané and dancer Laia Molins, while also working as a composer and arranger for various projects.

His musical career has taken him to Colombia, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and Andorra, solidifying his reputation as one of the most active musicians in the Barcelona scene. He has collaborated with artists such as Giulia Valle, David Pastor, and Magalí Sare. He is currently a piano and Ear Training teacher at the Taller de Músics.

Jofre’s discography includes Camarada Ventura’s Look Again (2024), JF Trio’s Tránsit (2022), Red Perill’s Cataluña En Miniatura (2022), JF Trio’s Doce (2022), and Denís Suárez’s El Libro Negro (2021).
