The Guy Salamon Group is one of the notable bands in the Dutch jazz scene, making a strong impression on audiences and critics all over Europe with recent concerts at the North Sea Jazz Festival, the Royal Concertgebouw and JazzAhead. Award-winning jazz drummer, composer, arranger, recording artist and band leader, he’s known for his octet Guy Salamon Group, and for his collaborations with renowned musicians on the European jazz scene. Guy Salamon’s music is full of surprises, creative stories, high energy, humour and sincerity.

As for his discography, in 2019 he released his debut album with the Guy Salamon Group project, Unfollow The Leader (self-released). Three years later, he released his second album with the band, Creatures! Creatures!, released by ZenneZ Records. This is a mixture of styles and genres, where joy merges with pain and chaos with silence. Both albums contain original music by Salamon, arranged especially for this eight-piece line-up.
