Through original compositions and arrangements influenced by hard bop and contemporary jazz, the group delivers a fresh, elegant, and energetic live performance, where interaction and a shared musical language are at the core.
Active since 2019, the trio has built a solid trajectory with over fifty performances across Spain and internationally. In Spain, they have performed at leading venues and series such as Jamboree (Barcelona), the Mas i Mas Festival, L’Hora del Jazz (Olot), Nova Jazz Cava (Terrassa) —where they recorded State of the Trio—, Clamores (Madrid), Clarence Jazz Club (Málaga), and Clasijazz (Almería), as well as institutions such as La Pedrera, CaixaForum, and the Conservatori del Liceu Auditorium.
They have also appeared at festivals including Jazz al Relente (Gibraltar), Jazz en la Frontera (Jerez), Els 7 Inferns, and Jazz a la Fresca.
Internationally, the trio has performed in France and Italy, including appearances at the Fara Jazz Festival and the Locomotive Jazz Festival, as well as venues such as Écluse (Toulouse), consolidating a growing presence within the European jazz circuit.
The project won the first edition of the Premi Talent (2020), promoted by Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) and Taller de Músics, was a finalist at the Fara Jazz Live Award (Italy), and reached the semi-finals of the Juventudes Musicales de España Jazz Competition.
Their discography includes State of the Trio: Live at Nova Jazz Cava (2020), nominated in four categories at the 2021 MIN Awards —including Best Jazz Album—, and Forward (UnderPool, 2023), also nominated for the Enderrock Awards and the MIN Awards in the categories of Best Jazz Album and Best Emerging Artist.
The trio has recently completed the recording of its upcoming album, The Standard Us, scheduled for release in 2026 under the Fresh Sound New Talent label.
