Comprising Pablo Martín on tenor sax and clarinet, Héctor Tejedo on double bass and Kike Pérez on drums, Pablo Martín Trio is a Barcelona-based project bringing to the stage fresh, elegant and energetic live performances. With their own compositions, which are influenced by hard bop and contemporary jazz, these three musicians play with the timbral possibilities of the trio format.

The group has played at different festivals and venues, both nationally and internationally. In Spain, they have played in emblematic venues such as the Jamboree in Barcelona, Sala Clamores in Madrid, Clasijazz in Almería and Nova Jazz Cava in Terrassa. They have also performed at festivals such as Talents Jazz La Pedrera, Jazz al Relente (Gibraltar) and Jazz en la Frontera (Jerez). Outside the peninsula, the group has performed in countries such as France and Italy.
The trio won the 1st edition of the Premi Talent (2020), promoted by the Taller de Músics and Acción Cultural Española, AC/E. They were also semi-finalists in the 2020 Jazz Competition organised by Juventudes Musicales de España and finalists in the best band category at the 2019 Fara Jazz Live Award in Italy.
In December 2020, they released their first album, State of the Trio: Live at Nova Jazz Cava (Intersection), which was nominated in four categories for the Premios Min 2021, including Best Jazz Album. In July 2022, they recorded their second album Forward, released in July 2023 on the Catalan label UnderPool.
