Haize Berriak —“new winds” in Basque— features a carefully curated selection of eight tracks, including original compositions by Víctor de Diego alongside arrangements of works by other composers, conceived to maintain a strong stylistic and narrative coherence throughout the album.

The project is built upon a contemporary language that assimilates the legacy of major jazz traditions while shaping it into a personal, mature, and fully current artistic statement.

With this ensemble, Víctor de Diego consolidates an open and expressive sound, where interaction and listening become central elements of the musical discourse.
