In this song, the singer-songwriter invites us to explore the universal feelings of migration through a musical piece that resonates with the soul of those who have experienced uprooting and the longing for home.
Aldana continues to strengthen her career with this single, another testament to her multidisciplinary talent as a composer, vocalist, and arranger. Her music stands out for its ability to connect directly with the listener, offering an intimate and deeply emotional experience.
As for her upcoming album Matices, to be released in April 2025, Aldana unveils an innovative concept in which each song is linked to a color and the emotion it represents, based on the psychology of color. In the case of “Somos”, brown symbolizes earth, humility, and naturalness — evoking the nostalgia of autumn and the closeness to what is essential.
