Laly Rodríguez

Laly Rodríguez studied music at the Liceu in Barcelona and at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona. He studied guitar with Albert Cubero, and attended seminars of Sean Levitt, Jordi Bonell and José Luis Gámez.

Biography

He is part of the band El sueño eterno, with which he has recorded the CDs Hierro a Fondo and Generación. In 2002 he joined as Lluís Llach’s guitarist, recording Jocs, Poetes and Junts. He also recorded with the tenor José Carreras (Que no s’apague la llum) and with Feliu Ventura. He shared legendary stages with Lluís Llach, such as El Gran Teatro del Liceo, the Sala Olimpia in Paris, the Teatro Albéniz in Madrid, the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona and the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya. He also participated in the show “Tranuites Circus” with Lluís Danés, Marta Carrasco and Lluís Llach. He worked as a guitarist in the musical “Mortadelo y Filemón“. In 2010, he toured as the guitarist of “La nova trinca del segle XXI“, under the direction of Alberto Estebanez and Coco Comin. Since 2012, he has been working at the BCA-MUSIC recording studios as a session musician, recording for the Antena 3 program, “Número Uno“.

On a pedagogical level, Laly Rodríguez has been a teacher at the Escola Municipal de Gavà for 19 years, and a teacher at the Taller de Músics, as well as a private teacher for students with a medium-high level.
