Marta Garrett

Biography

She has been performing professionally on the jazz scene since 2012 and has played in different European capitals such as Amsterdam, Berlin and Copenhagen thanks to the European Jazz Master’s Program. Later, she was a resident singer in a concert hall in Tokyo for four months.

Garrett is a session musician for the Musiversal platform and is involved in projects in Lisbon such as ZOE, Canções de Ilha Deserta and Just in Trio. Recently, she moved to Barcelona where she teaches at Taller de Músics Escuela Superior de Estudios Musicales (ESEM) and participates in projects such as The Bop Collective and Extraño Weys.
