Pau Bombardó has a long career as a professional musician. He played with such diverse groups as the Big Band Jazz Terrassa, La Vella Dixieland and the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès. He has also been part of several solo groups such as Ignasi Terraza, Josep Mª Farràs, Sean Levitt, Lou Bennett, Brad Mehldau and Tete Montoliu.
He studied at the Conservatori Municipal de Música de Barcelona, at the Taller de Músics and at the New School for Social Research in New York. He holds a degree in Music from the ESMUC and in Philology from the UOC.
In the field of teaching, he teaches drums, combo and musical language to various municipal music schools in the region and also to the Taller de Músics, where he collaborates as a volunteer teacher in the Taller Obert program for people at risk of social exclusion. In 2018 he was awarded the Jazzterrasman prize for his project.
