She participates as a member of the Young Effervescence Big Band of Taller de Músics and has occasionally collaborated with the Taller de Músics Original Jazz Orquestra. She has also been part of projects of different styles and influences playing on stages such as Barite Festival and Lali Jove in Barcelona. As a teacher, she has worked mainly in Espai Senior at Taller de Músics, in the Aula Quatre school (Vilafranca del Penedès) and in the Taller de Música school (Badalona) teaching piano and musical language, as well as carrying out substitutions in different music schools.
Sandra Tarrés began studying music at the Institut Joan Llongueres (Barcelona) and began her piano studies at the age of 10 with Anna Casanova at the Elisenda Tarragó School (Barcelona). She continued her classical training through the ABRSM in London and began studying for a vocational diploma in jazz piano at the Aula del Liceu and Berklee College of Music in 2016. At the age of 17 she began her training at Taller de Músics to prepare for access to the Higher Degree in Jazz and Modern Music with the teachers Cristina Canet, Valentí Adell, Joan Solana, Néstor Giménez, Jordi Riera and Manel Vega, among others.
Currently, she is studying for a certificate of higher education in performance at Taller de Músics ESEM, specializing in jazz piano. She is taking classes from teachers such as Txema Riera, Alejandro Di Constanzo, Vicenç Solsona, Santi de la Rubia, Raül Reverter and Sergi Sirvent, among others.
She has also attended different masterclasses by Jaume Gispert, Chano Domínguez, Xavi Torres and Ben Van Gelder.
