Every summer, the roof terrace of La Pedrera becomes a luxury setting to enjoy the night, the splendid views of the city and the best live music.
La Pedrera becomes the epicenter of jazz in Barcelona during the summer nights. For this edition, Talents Jazz a La Pedrera places the best musical talent in the heart of the city, collaborating closely with the city’s cultural ecosystem and especially with prestigious educational institutions such as Taller de Músics.
The result is a jazz and modern music program that strives for excellence and gives voice to Barcelona’s talent, where musicians from Taller de Musics will present new or recently created projects that fuse jazz with other styles, ranging from classical Bach to neo-soul. The union of different generations of national and international musicians and the presence of different formats (from trio to big band) will give the public a very wide range of the variety of the current jazz scene. Creativity, experimentation, research into their own language and international projection are some characteristics of the young artists from Taller de Músics that will perform.
Talents Jazz at La Pedrera begins with a free visit to the attic, where the interpretive space of Gaudí’s work is located; followed by a concert on the rooftop, a distinctive site, where you can listen to the best live jazz in this unique and suggestive setting.
