Carles Gilibets is the founder of VadecOM Agency and its Content, Marketing, and Events Director. With more than 30 years of experience in the music industry and communications business, he is a festival creator and director, has taught at Pompeu Fabra University and the IMB School in postgraduate programs in music industry management, leads the Fanàtik label, and has worked at Cadena Ser’s music radio stations.
He is an expert in crafting Sensory Marketing strategies and event project management, seeking the best communication channels and adapting strategies to make each project unique.
Carles Gilibets began his career in communications and musical events with Grupo Prisa, where he managed music stations in Catalonia for 15 years before moving on to head marketing and new business development at Cadena Ser Catalunya.
In 2014, he joined the sensory marketing company Emotion Experience, where he created and managed projects for brands in various sectors. He also teaches in the music industry business management postgraduate program at UPF and IMB School.
In 2017, he embarked on a new professional path as a music festival creator and director, achieving recognized success in various locations across Catalonia. The Terramar festival in Sitges, Som de Mar, and Petit Paradís on the Costa Brava are among the festivals Gilibets has created in recent years, along with launching the VadecOM communication and events agency.
In 2022, he took on the direction of the Fanàtik label at Blanco y Negro Music to drive the Fanàtik music label, specializing in the development and management of the careers of Catalan artists and bands.
