Espai Senior is Taller de Músics’ programme for people aged 40 and over who wish to start or resume their musical journey.
Whether you are learning from scratch or returning to an instrument after some time away, Espai Senior offers a range of learning modalities so you can progress at your own pace. Choose from instrument classes, combos, band, vocal ensemble, gospel choir, big band and music theory classes. It is also a place to meet like-minded people, make music together and take part in workshops and group activities.
Our methodology places musical practice at the heart of the learning experience, combining listening, music reading and performance through a repertoire developed collaboratively by students and teachers.
At Taller de Músics, you will be supported throughout your learning journey by a team of experienced musicians and educators. Our teaching staff is made up of professionals connected to Taller de Músics, many of whom are graduates of or currently teach at the Escola Superior d’Estudis Musicals (ESEM), with extensive experience in both music education and professional performance.
It’s never too late to learn music! Taller de Músics’ Adult Program is a project aimed at people over the age of 40 interested in music, with musical aptitudes, enthusiasm and respect for this art. It works in a fun and practical way, simplifying the professional learning process.
