Alba Armengou, a singer and trumpet player from Barcelona, presents her first solo album Susurros del Viento (Self-published, 2023). Despite her youth, she has already been involved in more than thirty albums by different artists.
Having trained in the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, where she entered the world of jazz as a trumpet player and singer, in 2020 she started her own musical project with guitarist Vicente Lopez. Together, they delve into Latin American folklore and Brazilian music. As a result, Susurros del Viento was born, an original project combing different musical styles that form part of the artist’s background.
Susurros del Viento is a delicate and moving project, full of talent. A sonic journey through Armengou’s inner musical landscape, with compositional influences from boleros, Catalan cançó, Brazilian music and her jazz heritage.
